Ms. Twenty Hamilton appeared a bit shabby and forlorn when first we were introduced. A fine lady down on her luck. But all she ever really needed was a make-over and "Voila", she's looking good, Man, real good.  Give me uno besso, mi' lady.  Didn't you get fresh!

But that's not how it was when we met.

Not even shabby chic. Not by a long shot.

But, oh, what a difference a day makes!

A double oven, gas cooktop, stainless air-vent, granite counters, and a bottle of fine vino.

Have you seen the grande fridge, la nevera grande, that's means huge, any way you say it:  a $3000 fridge!

What Was Done to 20 Hamilton during the Make-Over

-- Brace yourselves, it's a long list.

1. Patched, primed, and painted the exterior.  Extra care paid to the front deck.
2. Landscaped the property, tearing down old fences, and putting in new plantings.
3. Patched, pointed, and painted the foundation and power-washed the retaining wall.
4. Cleaned the basement, removed old piping and heating debris and painted walls.
5. Extensive electrical work where needed in basement and throughout the house.
6. Replaced stolen plumbing pipes, baseboard heating elements, water pipes.
7. Replaced stolen parts on the boiler and retro-fitted it to code.
8. Installed a brand new hot water heater..
9. Reconfigured upstairs bath so door would close for privacy, installed a custom made sink .***
10. Installed new replacement windows throughout the house.
11. Installed new double-oven in kitchen.
12. Installed new gas cookstove top converting from electric.
13. Installed new electric air-vent above stove cooktop.
14. Installed $3000 fridge with double doors and a freezer on the bottom.
15. Installed a new dishwasher.
16. Installed a washer and dryer in the eat-in-kitchen.
17. Installed new track lighting in the kitchen as well as a chandelier.
18. Refinished the wooden floors throughout the house including the stairs and hallways.
19. Re-supported and painted the stairs to the basement.
20. Patched and repaired all woodwork trim around windows and doors.
21. Patched and repaired walls and ceilings and painted them with designer colors.
22. Refinished kitchen woodwork.
23. Installed new kitchen floor with VCT tile as well as 2nd floor bath.
24. Refinished and restored 1st floor bath.
25. Installed new front door.
26. Repaired roof where needed.
27. Built closet door.
28. Installed new doors where needed (4) repaired others.
29. Designed and installed designer window guards on front door glass panels. 
30. Installed granite conter-tops and back-splash in kitchen.

Well, I'm sure, given time, I could think of a few more things we did during the makeover, but let the pictures speak for themselves.
